Shanghai International Wine Challenge

Good news for Casanova Prosecco!
We won the bronze award at Shanghai International Wine Challenge.
The competition attracts thousands of entry wine from more than 20 countries every year. SIWC is organised  by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai Pudong Sub-Council and Shanghai Waigaoqiao International Exhibition & Trading Center of Wine & Beverage which is the one and only wine challenge organised by the government. We are definitely happy about this award and we are looking forward to winning more in the future!

Berlin Wein Trophy

We are thrilled to announce our award-winning medals Gold and Silver of the Berliner Wein Trophy Awards for Casanova Prosecco range.

Since its premiere in 2004, the competition has grown to become Germany’s largest and most important international wine tasting. From behind closed doors, the international jury tasted over 6,200 fine wines and awarded their points.

The medals of the Berliner Wein Trophy Awards are world-renowned, which can be trusted when purchasing wine. Through the patronage of the OIV (International Organisation of Vine and Wine), a fair and carefully controlled competition is guaranteed.

IWC

It is the second year we are taking part in the International Wine Challenge, which is the world’s finest and most meticulously judged wine competition which assesses every wine blind and judges each for its faithfulness to style, region and vintage. Our Casanova Prosecco Brut has been awarded with commended winner award. This fashion prosecco perfectly suits with fresh fish, caviar and chicken.

We are also glad to announce that Casanova Henriette Cuvee Brut, has delighted the jury and we won the bronze medal. This sparkling Prosecco is perfect with fresh fish dishes, appetisers, salads, hummus, delicate soups, horseradish, curry dish or we suggest to serve it as an aperitif.

International Wine Challenge 2016

The London International Wine Challenge (IWC) now has over 9,000 entries. The competition takes place over two weeks. There are three rounds of blind tasting: groups of eight to fourteen wines of the same style are tasted and scored by tables of 4 judges. There are over 300 judges. Wines scoring more than 84 points out of 100 advance to round two, where they are tasted again and gold medal winners in each style are awarded. Round three is a tasting of gold medal winners to decide on trophy winners. Throughout the rigorous judging processes, each medal winning wine is tasted at least three times and sometimes as many as six. There is no set number of trophies awarded.
